I tried playing Call of Duty online without PlayStation Plus, but it just wouldn't let me. You gotta have PS Plus to access online multiplayer.

If you want to play Call of Duty online on a PlayStation console, you're going to need a PS Plus subscription. No other way around it.

Unfortunately, you can't play Call of Duty online on PS4 or PS5 without a PlayStation Plus subscription. Sony requires PS Plus for online multiplayer.
