Playing Diablo 3 on your Steam Deck is actually simpler than you might think, thanks to the magic of Proton, Steam's compatibility layer for Linux. First, you'll need to add Diablo 3 as a non-Steam game to your Steam library on your PC. Open Steam, go to the bottom-left corner, click 'ADD A GAME,' then 'Add a Non-Steam Game.' Browse for the Diablo 3 launcher or executable and add it. Then, make sure your Steam Deck is set to use Proton for non-Steam games. Voila! Boot up your Steam Deck, find Diablo 3 in your library, and get ready to slay some demons on the go!

Nah, you don't need all that fuss. Just get a Windows partition on your Steam Deck and install Diablo 3 like it's a regular PC. Easy peasy.

Tried playing D3 on the Deck, works smoothly with Proton. Make sure your Proton is up to date for the best experience. The controls are surprisingly intuitive once you get used to it!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
