Plug in your Xbox controller to your laptop using a USB cable or connect via Bluetooth. Fortnite should automatically recognize the controller. You're good to go!

I use an Xbox controller with my laptop all the time for Fortnite! Just plug it in, and if it doesn鈥檛 work right away, check the device settings to make sure your laptop recognizes it.

You can also connect your Xbox controller wirelessly via Bluetooth. Hold the sync button on the controller until the Xbox button starts flashing, then pair it with your laptop in the Bluetooth settings.

Pro tip: If your laptop doesn't immediately recognize the Xbox controller, make sure you have the latest drivers installed or try restarting Fortnite. This usually does the trick for me.

If you're a Fortnite player looking for extra v-bucks, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Fortnite gift card, which you can win and use to get v-bucks essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
