First thing's first, download the Steam client from their official website and install it on your computer. Once you've got it installed, open it up and create an account or log into an existing one. After that, you can either buy games directly from the Steam store or redeem a game code if you've got one. To download your game, just head to your library, click on the game you want to play, and hit the install button. Once it's downloaded, hit 'play' and you're all set! Easy peasy.

Eh, sometimes it's not all sunshine and rainbows. My advice? Always check the system requirements of a game before you buy it on Steam. Nothing's worse than realizing your PC can't run it after you've bought it.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
