Playing LAN Terraria is pretty easy! First, make sure all players are connected to the same network. One player needs to start Terraria, select 'Multiplayer', then 'Host & Play'. Choose your character, the world, and when you get to the 'Server Password' option, you can either set one or leave it empty for a quicker start. Whoever's hosting will have their world open, and then the other players can select 'Multiplayer', 'Join via IP', and literally just enter the host's local IP address! No internet needed, just direct, fun, blocky adventure time.

Nah, you're overthinking it. Just hit Multiplayer, host the game, and yell the IP across the room. Works every time.

Quick tip from someone who's been there: Make sure everyone's game version matches. Spent hours troubleshooting once only to find out one of us hadn't updated Terraria.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
