How to Play League of Legends on Steam Deck
Actually, you can skip the whole Windows thing. Just stick with SteamOS and use Proton, a compatibility layer that lets you run Windows games on Linux-based systems. Check the 'Enable Steam Play for all other titles' option in your Steam settings, locate League of Legends in your non-Steam games library, and you should be good to go. Remember, your mileage may vary because not all games play nice with Proton.

Proton? Windows? Too much hassle. Just play games that are actually supported by Steam Deck natively. LoL ain't worth the trouble.
First off, you gotta understand that League of Legends isn't natively available on Steam. But no worries, there's a workaround! Install Windows on your Steam Deck (yeah, the Deck runs on SteamOS, but it's basically a PC, so you can switch it up). Once you've got Windows running, download and install League of Legends just like you would on any other PC. Voila, you're set to play LoL on the go!
Installing Windows on Steam Deck for LoL? Nah, just use a cloud gaming service that supports League. Easy peasy.
