The simple answer is you can't. Lethal Company only supports up to four players, so a fifth player can't join in. Maybe use this as an opportunity to rotate players out for breaks, or have the fifth person act as a coach or strategist for the team.
You can't play Lethal Company with 5 people. It's 4 or nothing. Maybe have your fifth friend cheer you on from the sidelines?
Lethal Company is a strict four-player max game. No way around it, folks. So, if you have an extra friend, maybe it's time for them to spectate and give live commentary. Or, they can be in charge of snacks - everyone loves the snack person!
