Splatoon 2 doesn't actually have traditional local co-op for the main multiplayer modes. Time to go online!
Personal experience: Grab that extra Joy-Con, head to the lobby, choose Private Battle, and it's squid party time!
In Splatoon 2, you can enjoy local co-op through the Salmon Run mode. Just head to Grizzco in Inkopolis Square, and gather your friends for some intense salmon-splatting action!
