Getting Microsoft Store games to run on your Steam Deck isn't as straightforward as Steam games, but it's doable with a bit of tinkering. First, you'll need to install Windows on your Steam Deck, because the Microsoft Store and its games are designed for Windows. Once you've got Windows running, just download the games from the Microsoft Store as you would on any PC. Remember, performance may vary because these games aren't optimized for the Deck, so a bit of patience and tweaking settings might be required.

I managed to play a few Microsoft Store games on my Steam Deck by first switching to Windows. It's a bit of a hassle but worth it for games not available on Steam. Performance was a hit or miss, though, so adjust your expectations!

Honestly, just install Windows on the Steam Deck. Then, Microsoft Store games should work fine, but it kinda defeats the purpose of the Deck's gaming-optimized SteamOS.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
