Playing Minecraft on your Steam Deck isn't as straightforward as other games since it's not available directly through Steam. But don't fret! You can easily add it by installing the game through the Windows partition or using the Steam Deck's compatibility layer, Proton, to run the non-Steam version. All you need to do is add it as a non-Steam game to your library. This way, you can enjoy Minecraft on that nifty handheld PC gaming device!

Just get Minecraft from the Microsoft Store, then add it as a non-Steam game in your Steam library. Super simple!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
