NBA 2K Mobile pretty much needs a constant internet connection. Sorry, but you're gonna need WiFi or cellular data to fully enjoy the game.

To play NBA 2K Mobile offline, you need to load the game while you're connected to the internet. Once it's loaded, you can access offline modes like MyCareer and Quick Game without a hitch. Happy balling!
