Just remember the basics: 60 cards in a deck, no more than 4 copies of a single card except basic Energy cards, and you win by collecting six prize cards. Everything else you'll pick up as you play more games!

Playing Pokemon TCG is all about strategy and fun! Start by building a deck of 60 cards, focusing on a good mix of Pokémon, Energy, and Trainer cards. Battles are turn-based; each turn, you can play a Pokémon, attach an Energy card to power its moves, use Trainer cards for bonuses, and attack your opponent's Pokémon. Win by knocking out enough of your opponent's Pokémon to collect six prize cards, or if they run out of Pokémon on the field or cards in their deck!

Honestly, just start playing. You'll mess up the rules a bit at first, but that's part of the fun. The community's super welcoming to new players, so don't be afraid to ask for tips!

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
