Just play, bro. Grab a starter deck, find a buddy who's also clueless, and learn as you go. Best way to learn is to just start playing and make mistakes. You'll get the hang of it!

Honestly, YouTube tutorials are a goldmine for learning Pokemon TCG. Watch a few beginner guides; visual learning helps a ton with understanding game flow and strategy.

Starting with Pokemon TCG is super easy! First, you'll need a deck. Each player starts with a 60-card deck filled with Pokemon, Energy, and Trainer cards. Begin by drawing 7 cards. Look for a Basic Pokemon to place in the active spot; if you don't have one, reshuffle and draw 7 new cards. You'll also place 6 cards face down as your Prize cards. Each turn, you can draw a card, play Basic Pokemon, evolve Pokemon, attach Energy cards from your hand to your Pokemon (one per turn), and use Abilities or attack. The goal is to knock out your opponent's Pokemon by dealing damage equal to or exceeding the Pokemon's hit points, claiming a prize card for each knockout. First to draw all their Prize cards wins! Remember, strategy is key, balancing attack and defense while managing your resources.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
