To play Pokemon GO cards, grab a starter deck, shuffle, draw 7 cards, and follow the instructions on the back of the rulebook. Easy peasy!

Alright, so first things first, Pokemon GO and Pokemon cards are two different things. Pokemon GO is the mobile game where you catch Pokemon in AR, but if you're looking to play the Pokemon Trading Card Game (TCG), you鈥檒l need a couple of starter decks, some friends, and maybe some snacks for those long battles!

Honestly, just watch a tutorial on YouTube. It's way easier to learn by seeing it in action!

I've been playing the TCG for years! You start by shuffling your deck and drawing 7 cards. Place the Active Pokemon in the middle and up to 5 benched Pokemon on your side. Each turn, draw a card, attach energy, use Trainer cards, evolve Pokemon, and attack. Rinse, repeat and have fun!

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
