Startin' off, ya gotta know that Pokemon TCG Sun and Moon, like any other Pokemon TCG series, is all about strategic card battles. First step, build your deck around a specific type or idea. You’ll need Basic Pokemon to start playin', Evolution cards to power up, Trainer cards for support, and don’t forget Energy cards to actually attack. Your aim is to knock out your opponent's Pokemon by dealing enough damage, and the first to take six Prize cards wins. Sun and Moon series introduced new GX cards with powerful attacks that can turn the tide of the game, but you can only use one per game, so choose wisely!

Make sure you understand the rule changes that came with Sun and Moon, like the new GX cards - they're game changers! Also, attending local game nights can be super helpful. Playing against different people gives you a real feel for the game and helps improve your strategy big time.

Just buy a theme deck, honestly. Sun and Moon have some cool ones. Learn by playing. It’s easier than it sounds.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
