Most PS3 models can't play PS2 discs directly, but you can use software like MultiMan combined with custom firmware (CFW) to load PS2 ISO files from a USB drive.

You can actually play PS2 backups on your PS3 if you have one of the original 'fat' models (CECHCxx or CECHExx). These models have the necessary hardware for backwards compatibility. You'll also need to install custom firmware (CFW) like Rebug to run PS2 ISO files.

I've had some luck using the PS2 Classics Placeholder and PS2 ISO Launcher on my PS3 with CFW. It's a bit of a hassle to set up, but it works!

Sorry to say, but playing PS2 backups on a PS3 isn't supported on most models. Stick with original games or play on a PS2 console.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
