Sadly, not all PS3 Slim models support PS2 games. Only the original 'fat' PS3 and some early Slim models can play them. So, double-check your model!

I tried this myself: if you have the backward compatible PS3 Slim, you're good! Otherwise, you might need to look into PlayStation Now for some PS2 classics.
