Unfortunately, there isn't a direct port of Red Dead Redemption 1 for the PS5 yet. Your best bet is using a PS3 disc and playing it through the PlayStation Now service.

Just get a PS Now subscription, and you can stream RDR1 on your PS5 without any fuss.

Right now, the best way to play RDR1 on a PS5 is through backward compatibility with the PS4 version of Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare, which includes the original game. Pop that disc in or download it from the PlayStation Store!
