To play shared Steam games at the same time, you kinda need to get creative. Officially, Steam's Family Sharing feature doesn't let you play a game at the same time as the owner. However, a little trick that some use is for the game owner to go into Steam's offline mode. This way, the shared user can play the game online while the owner plays offline. Just remember, this is more of a workaround and not supported by Steam, so you're doing it at your own risk!

I've actually done this with my brother. We shared some games on Steam, and he'd go offline so I could play. Worked like a charm, but remember Steam isn't really okay with this. Think of it as bending the rules a bit.

No can do, officially. Steam's sharing is pretty clear: when the owner plays, shared users gotta wait. It's a fair play kinda deal.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
