How to Play Splatoon Multiplayer Offline
Unfortunately, Splatoon is primarily an online multiplayer game, so there isn't an official offline multiplayer mode. But hey, for some two-player fun, you could play in the same room with another friend who also has a Switch and the game, and just have a blast together by switching between your online accounts!

You can't really play Splatoon offline with others, but single-player mode gives good practice!

Tried this myself, and while you can't play multiplayer offline, you have the story mode to keep working those ink-splatting skills sharp even when your internet's being a little shy.
