You gotta make sure you have two controllers synced to your Xbox Series S. Once you're in the game lobby, just press the X button on the second controller and log in with a second account. Voila, split-screen fun!

Honestly, split-screen on Fortnite isn't available in all game modes. You can only play Duos or Squads with split screen at the moment. Make sure the second player logs in, then press X to join.

Hook up both controllers, go to the Fortnite lobby, and press X on the second controller. Then just pick Duos or Squads and you're good to go!

Just fire up Fortnite, connect both controllers, and press X on the second one to join the game. Easy peasy!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
