State of Decay 2 doesn't officially support LAN, but you can create a private multiplayer session and invite friends to join. Just start a game, go to the multiplayer settings, and invite your buddies!

Hey there! No LAN option in State of Decay 2, but you can still play with friends online. Host a session and send invites through the Xbox app or Steam. I've done this with my squad, and it works like a charm!

Short answer: You can't. State of Decay 2 only supports online multiplayer.
