Honestly, directly playing Steam games on Xbox One? That's a no-go, chief. Steam games are designed for PC and the systems don't directly talk to each other. But, there's a workaround if you're really itching to play those games on your Xbox. You can use the Steam Link app if you have a device that supports it, like a smartphone or a tablet, to stream the games from your PC to your Xbox One. That said, you still kinda need a PC in the loop - it's the middleman that can't be cut out entirely.

Nope, can't be done. Steam and Xbox are like oil and water; they don't mix without some serious shaking up. And by shaking up, I mean there isn't a direct way to play Steam games on your Xbox One without involving a PC somewhere in the process.

Been there, tried that. The closest thing to magic here is streaming your PC's Steam games to your Xbox via Steam Link app on a compatible device. It's not exactly 'without a PC', but it's the closest workaround we've got!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
