Forget all that, just button mash! It's more fun that way. ;) Seriously though, experiment with moves and combos to find what works best for you.

Grab that Wii Remote and Nunchuk, mate! Use the control stick on the Nunchuk to move your character, and press 'A' to perform standard attacks. Wanna pull off a special move? Press 'B' while using the control stick for extra flair. And don't forget to jump with the 'C' button or the 'Z' button to shield yourself.

It's easy! Use the Nunchuk's analog stick to move, 'A' for standard attacks, and 'B' for special moves. Jump with the 'C' button, shield with 'Z'.

I always find using the Wii Classic Controller much easier. Moving with the left stick, 'A' for standard attacks, 'B' for specials, and 'X' or 'Y' to jump. Shields are on 'L' or 'R'!
