I tried this before! You'll need VorpX. It converts non-VR games into VR by adding head-tracking and stereoscopic 3D. Just follow the instructions on VorpX's official site.

Don't bother. TF2 wasn't designed for VR, so it won't be a great experience.

Check out VorpX! It's a 3rd-party program that retrofits VR support into non-VR games like TF2. It's not perfect, but it's the best option.
