How to play Terraria co-op
ManningAndy路8 months agoHonestly, playing co-op in Terraria is more hassle than it's worth. Solo play is where it's at.

Playing Terraria in co-op mode is all about teaming up with friends for some extra fun! First off, make sure everyone's got Terraria installed. Then, one of you needs to host a game. You can do this by selecting 'Multiplayer' on the main menu, then 'Host & Play'. Choose your world, set a server password if you want, and tell your friends to join by selecting 'Join via IP' and entering your game's IP address. Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!
Just use Steam's 'Join Game' feature. Right click your friend's name in your Steam friend list, and hit 'Join Game'. Boom, you're in. No complicated server stuff needed if you both have Steam versions.
Been playing Terraria with my buds for years, and it's always a blast. We usually host a dedicated server when planning long gaming sessions. It's a bit more technical, but worth it for uninterrupted gameplay and not worrying about the host needing to leave. Make sure everyone's on the same version of the game to avoid any connection issues!
