Bluetooth isn't an option for Terraria, sadly. So, no sneaky around the data use there. You gotta go with a mobile hotspot or find some WiFi, buddy.

If you're looking to team up in Terraria without WiFi, your best bet is using a mobile hotspot. One player can set up a mobile hotspot, and others can connect to this hotspot using their devices. Just make sure the host has a solid data plan, as multiplayer gaming can consume a good chunk of data!

Honestly, just find a cafe with WiFi. Saves on your data, and you get to enjoy a nice cup of something while you play. Plus, no dealing with spotty connections when someone's hotspot isn't up to the task.

Hot take but why bother? Playing Terraria solo is where it's at. No lag, no waiting on others, just you and your epic world-building skills.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
