Emulators are the way to go if you really wanna stick to the mobile version on PC. I've used Bluestacks for Terraria and a bunch of other games, works like a charm. You won't even notice you're not on your phone!
Honestly, just buy the PC version of Terraria. It's not that expensive and runs smoother on PC than a mobile version would on an emulator. Plus, you won't have to deal with the awkwardness of touch controls on a keyboard and mouse setup.
