To play split screen on Fortnite, you need two controllers and a console (either Xbox One or PS4/PS5). Log into your main account, start up Fortnite, and in the game lobby, have the second player press their console’s login button to join. Easy peasy!

Just plug in two controllers, log in with both accounts, and start up the game. Split screen doesn't work on PC though, only on Xbox and PlayStation.

My friend and I do split-screen all the time on our PS5. Just have the second player press and hold the X button in the lobby, and you're ready to go!

Make sure you're both logged in on the same console and in the lobby. Then, the second player just needs to press their login button, and voila, split screen magic happens!

If you're a Fortnite player looking for extra v-bucks, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Fortnite gift card, which you can win and use to get v-bucks essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
