You can't directly play Valorant on the Steam Deck because it's a Windows-only game and the Steam Deck runs on SteamOS, which is based on Linux. However, you can try to install Windows on your Steam Deck. This involves reformatting the device and installing a Windows OS, but be warned, it might not run perfectly and could void your warranty. Also, Valorant's anti-cheat software, Vanguard, might not play nice with the Steam Deck's hardware.

I actually managed to get Valorant running on my Steam Deck by installing Windows. It's not for the faint-hearted though - had to go through a bunch of tutorials online and even then, the game's performance is hit or miss. But hey, it works sometimes!

Just don't. Playing Valorant on the Steam Deck is a hassle because of the anti-cheat issues and potential performance problems. Stick to playing it on a PC if you can.

If you're a Valorant player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Valorant gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
