Firstly, you gotta understand that Wind Waker is a Nintendo game, and Steam doesn't directly support Nintendo games. BUT, you can still play it on your Steam Deck through emulation. Install an emulator like Dolphin onto your Steam Deck, which is capable of running GameCube and Wii games. Then, legally obtain a Wind Waker ROM and load it up in Dolphin. Voila, you're sailing the Great Sea on your Steam Deck!

Honestly, just buy a Nintendo console. Playing Wind Waker on a Steam Deck through emulation feels like a hassle.

Playing Wind Waker on your Steam Deck directly is a no-go since it's a Nintendo classic. But, where there's a will, there's a way - through emulation! Get Dolphin Emulator installed, and you're halfway to setting sail.

I got Wind Waker running on my Steam Deck using the Dolphin Emulator and it's a smooth sail! Just make sure you own the game legally to avoid walking the plank.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
