Playing Windows games on a Mac through Steam is totally doable thanks to Steam's built-in compatibility layer called 'Steam Play.' First up, make sure the game you wanna play supports Steam Play. Next, download and install Steam on your Mac, find the game in your library, and hit install. Steam will take care of the rest, making your Windows game run on macOS. Easy, right?

Honestly, just get a PC. Macs are great for a lot of stuff, but when it comes to gaming, a dedicated Windows PC will save you from a lot of headaches.

Boot Camp is your friend here. Just partition your Mac's hard drive, install Windows on the new partition, and voila! Steam for Windows right on your Mac. You do need to reboot to switch between macOS and Windows, but it's a small price to pay for access to all those sweet, sweet Windows games.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
