For wireless, make sure you have a wireless receiver for Windows (that little USB dongle) and the drivers installed. You'll be gaming in no time.

I've been using an Xbox 360 controller on my PC forever. Stick to wired for the simplest setup. Plug it into a USB port, and let Windows install the drivers automatically. Happy gaming!

You need a wired Xbox 360 controller or a wireless one with a USB receiver. Just plug it in, and Windows should auto-detect it. Good to go!
