First, make sure you're both connected to the internet. Then, go to Online mode, choose 'Battle Arenas,' and create a room. Share the Arena ID or password with your friends so they can join.
If you want to brawl with your buddies online, go to Online mode, choose 'Smash,' and pick 'Battle Arenas.' Create one, set your rules, and send the ID to your friends. Smash away!
