1. Open your router's settings (usually by typing the router's IP address in your browser). 2. Find the port forwarding section. 3. Add a new rule with the following ports: 27015-27030 (both TCP/UDP). BAM! You're ready to own noobs in TF2!

I used to host my own TF2 server! Just log in to your router, navigate to the port forwarding section, and enter these ports: 27015-27030 (both TCP/UDP). Done and done!
