From personal experience, I always use the Loop effect from the Photos app. It gives my live pics that endless cool vibe and Instagram handles them like a pro!
Just convert your Live Photo to a Boomerang using Instagram's Stories feature. Open Instagram, swipe right to go to Stories, select your Live Photo, and press and hold on it to see the Boomerang effect.
