From my personal experience, the best way is to connect the accounts in Instagram settings and then toggle the option to share on Facebook whenever you post something new on Instagram.
Easy peasy! Just link your Instagram account to Facebook in your Instagram settings. Once linked, when you make a post on Facebook, there's an option to share it to Instagram too!
You don't need to overthink it. Just post on Facebook and use the 'Share to Instagram' button. Simple as that!
