Easy peasy! Just hold down the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds until it shuts off completely. Then, unplug the power cord, wait 10 seconds, and plug it back in. Turn it back on and you're good to go!
I had to do this last week! Just press and hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds. It'll turn off. Then pull the power cord out for another 10 seconds before plugging it back in. Turn it on, and it should be reset.
Honestly, just hold the power button till it shuts down. That's it!
