Try using skills like the Stinger Hive or the Firefly with the Demolisher variant to interrupt their healing and keep the pressure on.
I've found that using the Sledgehammer talent can really help. It disrupts their armor kits when you hit them with a grenade or melee attack. Works like a charm!
Honestly, sometimes the best way to prevent hunters from healing is just to keep the DPS high and not give them a chance to breathe.
