If you wanna print some decent MTG proxies for casual play, first, find high-quality images of the cards you need. Websites like Scryfall offer high-res card images. Make sure you're printing at 300 DPI for that crisp look. Use photo paper instead of regular paper to get closer to the feel of a real card. Then, cut 'em out carefully and sleeve them with a real MTG card behind for the right thickness and shuffle feel. Remember, proxies are cool for playtesting and casual games with friends but not allowed in official tournaments!

I've printed proxies for years, and the secret sauce is a good laser printer. It makes the colors pop way better than an inkjet. Plus, if you can access one, use a paper cutter for super straight edges. Your decks will look almost pro!

Just use a regular printer, lol. No need to get fancy with photo paper unless you're trying to impress. Print, cut, sleeve, play. Done.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
