First up, you gotta know that printing official Pokémon cards at home isn't legit because of copyright reasons. But, for fun or for creating your own custom cards for personal use, there are a few steps. You can design your cards using graphic design software like Adobe Photoshop or a free alternative like GIMP. After you're done with your design, make sure to print them on cardstock to get that authentic card feel. Just remember, these are strictly for personal use and not for selling or passing off as the real deal!

I once tried printing my own Pokémon cards 'cause I wanted to create a custom deck for my nephew's birthday. Used Photoshop to design them and printed on high-quality glossy cardstock. They looked pretty decent! Made sure he knew they were just for fun and not to use them in official play. Turned into a cool project.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
