First thing's first, to print MTG proxies, you'll need access to a good quality printer and some decent paper - nothing gives away a proxy like flimsy paper. Look for high-resolution images of the cards you want to proxy online. There are sites dedicated to this, with images that are the right size. Use software like Photoshop or GIMP to adjust the size if needed, aiming for 2.5" by 3.5" to match real MTG cards. Print them out, cut them carefully, and maybe sleeve them with a real card behind for the right feel and thickness.

Been making proxies for years for playtesting. Best tip? Use a light cardstock. It gives the right thickness and feel without being too stiff. And always, always use high-quality images; it makes a world of difference in recognizing the card across the table.

Just grab images off Google, print on whatever, and slap 'em in a sleeve with a land card. Done.

If you're an MTG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of MTG cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
