Open the chat box by pressing the '/' key, type '/w' followed by the person's username and your message. Done!
You can also click on the chat bubble icon in the bottom right, select 'Chat with,' and choose the friend you want to message.
From personal experience, pressing the '/' key and typing '/w' followed by the username works like a charm every time. Just make sure to spell the username correctly!
Honestly, private chat is overrated. Just use Discord instead.
