Hey! To program your Xbox 360 remote, first turn on your console and TV. Then, press and hold the Xbox Guide button and the Mute button simultaneously until the remote's light blinks twice. After that, enter the code for your TV brand using the number buttons. Don’t forget to test it by using the volume buttons!

You don't need to program it. Just plug it in and it should work automatically!

Did this for my own Xbox 360 – just hold the Xbox Guide + Mute buttons until the light blinks, then type in your TV's code. Simple!

You can program an Xbox 360 remote by holding the Xbox Guide button and Mute button until the light blinks twice, then entering your TV's code. Use the volume buttons to check if it works.

If you’re stuck, Microsoft has a great support page with a list of TV codes. Just follow the steps and use the code for your TV!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
