How to Promote a Leader in State of Decay
Easy peasy! Just complete lots of missions with the character you want to promote, then head to the Community Tab and select 'Promote Leader.'

Grind those missions and build up their standing. Once they're a hero, pop over to the Community Tab and make them your fearless leader!
Simply complete missions and gain Influence to boost their standing. Once they're a hero, you can promote them from the Community Tab. Happy leading!
It's all about missions. Do enough with your chosen hero, go to the Community Tab, and bam, they're now the leader.
