You just need to be playing as a wrestler with that move in their arsenal. It's awesome when it happens after a Signature or Finisher move.

Guys, you can't pull down the straps in WWE 2K24 unless your wrestler has that specific move. Look for it in their moveset and trigger it when you've got a Signature or Finisher ready.

I pulled down the straps during a signature move with Kurt Angle. Just make sure you're playing as a wrestler with that kind of animation!
