Sorry to break it to ya, but Knuckles doesn't have a punch move in Sonic Mania. He's more of a glider and climber, not a fighter. Focus on those abilities to tackle the levels!
In Sonic Mania, Knuckles can't punch. He ain't a boxer, he's a digger and a climber! Use his glide and climb to your advantage instead.
No punching for Knuckles in Sonic Mania, but gliding and climbing are his bread and butter!
