How to Purify Water in Fallout 4
AttemptingDance·7 months agoTo purify water in Fallout 4, you gotta get your hands dirty with some settlement building. First up, make sure you’ve claimed a settlement with access to water like a river or a pond. Then, head over to the workshop and navigate to the 'Resources' tab, select 'Water,' and choose either a water purifier or water pump. Water purifiers need to be placed in the water and require power to run, so don’t forget to hook them up to a generator. The humble water pump can be placed on the ground but pumps less water and doesn't need power. Once set up, your settlement will start producing purified water, which you’ll find in the workshop’s inventory.

just build a water pump in your settlement, easy peasy. No power needed, but it’s a bit basic.
I installed a ton of water purifiers at Sanctuary, got more water than I know what to do with! Just make sure you have enough power to keep them running. It’s a great way to make caps, too, by selling the extra water.
