If you're on console, sign out of your console account first. Then sign back in with the new Fortnite account.

I had to do this myself. Just sign out and sign back in with your new account credentials. Works like a charm every time.

On PC? Go to the Epic Games Launcher, sign out, and then sign in with the other account. Simple as that!
