Step 1: Remove the back cover. Step 2: Insert two AA batteries, aligning the + and - symbols. Step 3: Replace the cover. Done!

Easy peasy! Just slide off the back cover of the controller, pop in two AA batteries (make sure the positive and negative ends line up), and snap the cover back on. Game on!
